Gravelord is a melodic death metal project that I started with my friend Cort Runyon in 2018, though at that time it had no official name. The project went on hold until 2020 when I had a better computer that could handle audio engineering. Cort has provided all of the vocal tracks on this EP as well as a majority of the lyrics and even some of the guitar ideas. I recorded all of the guitar tracks as well as programming all of the drums and bass guitar tracks. Additionally I did the mixing and mastering for this EP. It is my first major project for my own music release. This EP was released December 31st and will featured 5 songs. Cort and I will be making more music with this project in the future as well so stay tuned for more! Check out Cort's main projects on his site below. You can expect new material from us in 2022 \m/.

Susano'o is a song in the vain of the early power metal of Europe - particularly with Jacob McGeorge's vocals. The final mix and master was done by my good friend Murphy Elias. This is one of those - wow this songs done and just sitting here... I should do something with it - kind of songs. You know... like the majority of us - right? But after getting the vocals I knew this could be more than I originally thought. So I went from having only real guitars and vocals - to having all real instruments! Which is fantastic considering that samples are used so much today. Stereo metal drums sound great done live though!
